Activities and things to do in the area

Lamalou Golf Course

Local sporting activities include a nine-hole golf course, horse riding, tennis and canoe hire. Walking is excellent with many well-marked footpath routes through the mountain forests and villages. The apartment is just over 1 hour's drive from the Mediterranean beaches where there are excellent seafood restaurants and lovely coastal walks. The drive to the coast passes vineyards and picturesque villages.

A public open air swimming pool is approximately 400 metres away and open during the months of July and August.

Bedarieux offers additional local shopping and a wide range of services. The train from Bedarieux to Beziers has fast connections by TGV and Eurostar to London via Paris or Lille Europe. Ryanair and other airlines offer low-cost flights to Beziers, Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassonne, Perpignan and Girona (Spain); all under 2.5 hours away. EasyJet and Ryanair serve Montpellier.
